my thoughts on genshin characters @ hogwarts - part 1 mondstadt women edition

i love harry potter, and i love genshin impact, soooo why not mix the two together !!!!!!!!!! i know this has been done so many times so it's just what i think these characters would be like if they were at hogwarts :p and i fear i do get pretty long but i just love these guys what can i say

very self indulgent idc about the rest of u guys

// amber:

girl is a gryffindor through-and-through, no doubt about it

passionate ? check. playful ? check. courageous ? check. bra- yeah, she's it.

i think she'd be a half-blood, partly because of info from genshin itself - something about her grandfather being from liyue, but also because she'd have understanding of the muggle world too.

she would have the best of both worlds

for her wand, she would definitely have a unicorn tail hair core, and maybe cinnamon wood ?

a hare or bunny for her patronus, leaning more on hare

she wouldn't sit still, and is either helping out lost students, delivering messages for professors, or dragging her friends out for little adventures on school grounds

she'd also be a champion of justice, watching out for any bullies and showing them the lesser-known harsh side of hers she has

she's like gryffindor's unofficial official big sister, she's so close to the new first years and they always look up to her

she would absolutely loveeee flying classes, and you already know she's a chaser on the gryffindor quidditch team.

in her later years, she absolutely carries the team because my god she loves playing quidditch and she can get absolutely ruthless when she wants to win, and could end up being captain

i would love to see how she decorates the common room after a good old quidditch win

not many people as as cheerful and full of house spirit as her really

gryffindor's little sunshine - no, she's MY sunshine i love her ugh

first to cheer everyone up after anything demotivating, like quidditch losses or house competitions

advocate for house unity !!! she doesn't believe in the nonsensical house stereotypes, like gryffindor's are just dumb idiots willing to die, hufflepuffs being dumb and naïve, ravenclaws being arrogant snobby nerds, or slytherins having nothing to their names but their evil nature

she'd always be out trying to make friends and build bridges with them

on this topic, she'd also be a muggle-born advocate, making them feel really welcome in the wizarding world

she really is a sunshine :(

LOVES festivals

her and yoimiya would be absolute units together

i just feel like they're kinda similar, and i know we all think this too.

her, yoimiya, and lumine - the big three girlies of gryffindor

she's a mischievous little devil, the bane of jean & mcgonagalls' existences

she loves playing pranks, and tries to blame it all on qiqi because she's the most unsuspecting

also loves flying, and definitely wants to play in the quidditch team

she loves loves LOVes charms, because she can learn how to blow stuff up

of course they aren't teaching these spells to her for these reasons, but if something can be set on fire ? klee will use any spell she learns to do so

and don't forget her little dodoco she takes around everywhere with her

she loves care of magical creatures and excels in it, but would be known herself as a hazard in potions class

she loves exploring the castle and sneaking around where she shouldn't be

would try to pet dear fluffy if klee found it, and have to be dragged away by qiqi before she turns into the supper of a three-headed dog

she would be a half-blood too, because she's also half elf (are there elves in hp ?)

a sycamore and jackalope antler wand, brittle ? perhaps

gryffindor - what a surprise ! (why has everyone been a gryffindor so far though my god)

she could also be a hufflepuff too, but i just feel she resonates more with gryffindor

would absolutely be a prefect, and be damn annoyed with how annoying the younger kids in her house are

the kitchen elves used to have coffee prepared at breakfast, but made the switch to decaf after jean's professors complained about her lack of care for her health

is she a pureblood ? half-blood ? muggleborn ? we have no idea, because the only thing you can find running through her veins is caffeine

she would definitely be a pureblood though - from the prestigious gunnhildr clan, from which generations of gryffindors has been made

she would love transfiguration, i feel, because it's such a jean subject

gets O's in all her OWLs and NEWTs. but there's no shock here

she'd also love DADA, and be really good at duelling too

doesn't let house rivalries get out of hand, especially with how she sees the younger kids act

sees a lot of herself in amber, and teaches her quite a bit/mentors her

she's a library regular, and lisa starts questioning of the sorting hat can change houses in your later years at hogwarts

definitely a unicorn tail hair core, and has a mare as her patronus

HUFFLEPUFF !!!!!!!!

was probably a bit sad she wasn't a gryffindor like her older sister, but definitely tries to be an inspiring leader like jean is

would eventually become a prefect too

she loves charms and herbology, and will successfully get madam pomfrey to let her help out and learn from her in the infirmary

willow and unicorn tail hair core, quite flexible. and a small bird for her patronus too

she has this really cute little owl who, i swear, looks exactly like barbara does

she always helps out her classmates in class with whatever, and if she doesn't know, she'd go away and learn all the material for it then find them the next day and help

oh she also has a passion for music gosh how could i forget

she sings in her spare time and probably blushes a bit when people bring it up, but then starts to lead impromptu singalongs in the common room

another cute little hufflepuff ohmygod i love her

she probably also wanted to be a gryffindor, but she's a perfect hufflepuff

loyal, caring, loving, she's everything you want in a dear friend

she wants to take part in everything i swear, she tries to lead cleanups and wants to help out with everything

she would be so good at transfiguration and charms

charms help her with learning spells to stay organised

probably a muggleborn

wants to help everyone out with everything

even the elves, and they're just like "..... please let us do our jobs" but she's a sweetheart so they don't mind

she would probably suck at potions i'm sorry noelle, so she stays up a lot trying to get better at it all the time

she's VERY organised when it comes to studying, and is a perfect study buddy

quidditch beater !!!!

definitely works in the ministry in the future

a ravenclaw i think she would be

for one, that big-ass vocabulary she has that confuses the crap out of everyone

mcgonagall just wants to go through a normal lesson without her going on about her fischl stuff, would even start to call her by her real name when she's too fed up

also have to mention how much effort must go into keeping up her 'persona' as Fischl von Luftschloss Narfidort

absolutely a ravenclaw

probably a muggleborn too, which is why she created her Fischl persona; nobody would know of her blood status, she can just create a new life and nobody would know (kinda)

because everyone can really see through it but just lets her do her own thing

she probably tries to get Bennett and Razor to explore the forest with her so she can show off her image

would oz be a raven or an owl ? whichever takes ur fancy i suppose

LOVES magical literature, and is known for her unique fashion even in her uniform

top student in divination :p

her patronus would be a raven tho, how fitting

secretly sentimental, treasures her friends so much

also a ravenclaw !!!!! dedication to alchemy we love it

hangs around albedo a lot and wants to learn so much from him, he's her role model

loves herbology, potions, and then alchemy when she can finally do it

she's the go-to for anything related to those subjects, since she's the easier of the alchemy duo to approach

has her own little garden near the greenhouses filled with rare plants

definitely a halfblood as well

you know how, as kids, we made 'potions' with our shampoo/bath stuff or just random shit we found on the ground at playtimes ? she absolutely did that too as a kid

found some rainwater, random berries, smushed them up and mixed it altogether and had some random dude test it out for her (may or may not be anecdotal)

at the top of her classes

Mona Megistus a ravenclaw - who is surprised ?

she really really loves astrology, and the closest at Hogwarts is astronomy which probably pissed her tf off

she would probably neglect her other subjects in favour of astronomy/astrology, miss assignments and would she care ? no, she would not

either a halfblood or pureblood, i'm leaning more pureblood from some prestigious ravenclaw family

i can't believe i forgot divination she would be so good at that too

but she'd probs hate trelawney's way of teaching, great moment of bonding with hermione

i don't think she'd like quidditch much tbf

ravenclaw, what else would she be ?

do i rly need to say anything

she could end up being a prefect, despite her trying to avoid it

after graduating hogwarts, she'd be a librarian in the library and love telling off kids for going into the restricted section

i can't see her as anything other than being a muggleborn

pureblood ? sure, but it'd probably end with her being stressed and needing to do something more

not a half-blood no way

she'd probably invent some of her own spells in any spare time too

she's a friendly mentor in ravenclaw too, but definitely has a bit of a social life about - a proper social butterfly

gossip enthusiast !!! not maliciously but she'd love to be in the know

also a bit of a tea afficionado

honestly i think slytherin suits her best of the 4 houses

ambition is a big thing for slytherins, and we all know how she feels about the alcohol/wine industry

a halfblood too, but she may try to become an animagus when she's older

could be seen as scary or fierce by others in the school

she would definitely be on the quidditch team as a chaser - her feline lineage probably helps her a bit here, but she would love to show up other players

butt heads with all the bullies and get the schools' respect for doing so

she would HATE the pureblood elitism going on in her house, and always butt heads with them

constantly reminding them that they can't be all that great, since she's in the same house as them

AND she's way better at potions than them (unfortunately for her)

honestly snape would be impressed with her, because even though her motivations are unusual to him, she's still an ace at potions

she would be good at care of magical creatures too, and have great affinity with the feline-like creatures especially because of her lineage

she'd have a small soft spot for the younger kids, and help them out with homework or pass them snacks in detention or on punishment as long as they pinky promise her never to touch firewhisky or butterbeer when they grow up

her patronus would probs be a lynx actually, because of her independence and loyalty, and her passion to overthrow the alcohol industry

struggled placing her a bit but i put her in slytherin because i got a headache everytime i imagined her in another house. not much to it unfortunately

becomes a prefect tho !!!!!!

oh actually i lied in the first point. she's from a prestigious pureblood family full of slytherins, and she just wanted to be placed there as an 11 year old to not be in trouble with her family i guess

she could have been a hufflepuff maybe tho

she's really responsible though

amber keeps trying to get her to open up and meet new people, and she's slowly slowly getting there

duelling expert ! no way she wouldn't love dada

i don't know if she'd be a quidditch player, but ig she was, she'd be a beater definitely

slytherinnnnn because i don't know crap about her and she's pretty much mysterious soo here we go

nobody knows what she's up to i suppose

reputation for breaking curfew and wandering about the school at night

she has really unconventional study habits, doesn't study in a traditional ways, so she'll surprise people with knowledge on seemingly random topics

she'd also be a runes master, and know like, everything about them

not too sure she'd attend quidditch games, unless someone dragged her along with them

very advanced at defence magic

hates house politics, she just stays out of it as much as she can

secret smoker/drinker lol, she absolutely heads off somewhere to have a nice cig or drink

also a fashion rebel !!!! she doesn't really care about the rules, i think that's already of established

okayyy i think this is it, next part is the boys !!!!!!!!

Kdkdsi, the antlers are honestly just Gem pffff.

She's a reindeer dryad that's tired to nature so her antlers aren't standard for the animal she's based on. I haven't fully decided between two choices which are: A. She drops them during fall and winter then they regrow in spring and autumn, or B. Leaves and flowers grow along her antlers during spring but fall off during autumn. All I know is she's (of course) a birch dryad and she's tied specifically to that plant, which also means she burns easily (casual tree fact, lol).

Then the lovely horn havers that are Impulse and Doc, though only one has organic horns XD

Doc's aren't real horns, he often upgrades his cybernetics and this time around he has horns cus goat. Specifically they are alpine goat horns, so medium length with a slight but noticable curve. Not too intimidating but also not too friendly, just a good sweetspot. (Cus I'm a sucker for intimidating but still friendly looking characters)

Finally Impulse! I already said it to you but jacob sheep! He's got two sets, one the curls around his ears while another curves upwards. His are actually somewhat chipped from things like his life in the Nether and the Life Series, which just makes him look tougher than he mean to be. Just a big ol' demon, nothin much to worry about though vwv

This made my brain rotate, I just love putting animal features onto characters so much. Honestly my favorite is Gem though, she's literally a talking birch and no one can convince me otherwise >:3

Christmas with the avengers

pairing: avengers x teen!reader, Peter Parker x reader.

warnings: maybe some swearing?

summary: your first Christmas with both the avengers and with Peter, what could possibly go wrong?

a/n: merry Christmas everyone! this is absolute shit but I wanted to write something Christmassy, I hope you all like it!

you hadn't been part of the avengers long when you started dating Peter, causing this to be your first Christmas with the both of them.

you get dressed in the matching Christmas jumpers you and Peter both had, because apparently it was tradition in the avengers tower to wear Christmas jumpers on Christmas day, so you had both agreed to wear the matching jumpers. (see gif)

you pulled on a pair of jeans and tied your hair up in a ponytail, with a small peice tinsel wrapped around your hairband. you did light makeup with f/c (fave colour) of eyeshadow.

you walk out of your room in the avengers tower and bump into Thor and Loki, heading to the kitchen.

"hello lady y/n, you look ravishing. I love your jumper." Thor said smiling at you.

"thanks Thor, you look good too." you say smiling at him.

"I like the tinsel" Loki muttered to you on the way past. you and him had become quite close over the past few months you have spent at the tower, but it still shocked you that he would say something like that with Thor around. normally he was a lot quieter in the shadow of his older brother.

"thanks loki." you say cheerfully, getting into the lift with them.

when the three of you get to the living room and kitchen you go your separate ways. Thor to the kitchen, no doubt to raid the cupboards of poptarts and you and Loki to the living room. you take a seat next to your boyfriend and smile at him.

"you look amazing" Peter says, looking at you lovingly.

"so do you." you say giggling.

"I know" he said, pretending to do a hair flick. but failing miserably and accidentally hitting himself in the face.

you laugh at him, and he looks at you with those puppy dog eyes that you can never resist. "sorry love" you say before kissing his cheek where he hit himself.

both of you head to the kitchen and after collectively deciding on cereal for breakfast, you go back into the living room with bowls full.

just as you both sat down on the sofa at your previous spots, Tony came in with Morgan trailing behind him, also wearing matching Christmas jumpers. "Merry Christmas everyone!" he says, sitting next to Steve and Bucky on the sofa.

Morgan runs over to you and attemps to scramble onto your lap. after realising what she was trying to do you help her get up and she sits on you happily.

Morgan had begun to like you in the short time you had been here, you were good with kids and would often play with her causing you two to become immediate friends. she was your little partner in crime and the pair of you would often adopt Loki to help prank Tony and Steve.

"I know its Christmas but there is a lot to get done, Pepper, Wanda and Bucky are on cooking duty first and then we will rotate, check this peice of paper that was kindly provided by Bruce for the timetable. everything else should have been done already."

"I can't wait to see what I got from Santa!" Morgan squealed excitedly, eyeing the pile of presents under the tree.

"I'm offended" you say dramatically, "are you not exited to see what I got you?" you asked laughing.

"yep, I'm exited for all the presents!" she said before getting off of your lap and running into the kitchen to 'help' with the cooking.

after half an hour of chatting and crimes cookies Nat decided she was bored.

"who wants to play Christmas games?" she shouts holding up a box. you glance at the box before bursting out laughing.

"o-deer! really?" Sam said, laughing at what happened last time you played it.

"do you remember Rhodes last time, he looked like he was going to take off." Scott said laughing.

"erm, excuse me. but who won?" Rhodes said pointing to himself. "this guy, so don't get ahead of yourselves." he said.

"I personally think I'm gonna win this time" you say sticking your tongue out at Rhodes.

"not gonna happen doll" Bucky called from the kitchen.

"just watch me win" you say.

everyone comes in from the kitchen and takes a break from cooking to play.

you all take turns having the antlers and throwing the hoops, when both you and Peter had finished you both collapsed on the sofa. he put his arm around you and you nestled your face in his chest, breathing in his warm sent.

after Nat announced that the winner was Wanda (everyone thinks she used her powers, although she swears that she didn't) you changed around kitchen duty, next up it was you, Peter and Steve.

Vision had mysteriously disappeared from the cooking rota, despite the fact that Wanda had been helping his cooking skills he couldn't seem to get any better.

you got started on the brussel sprouts, how anyone could eat them was beyond you but apparently some people *cough* Sam *cough* liked them.

Peter had gotten started on the stuffing, making the mixture and rolling it into balls. whenever he would walk past u he would kiss you on the forehead, or whatever part of you that was facing him at the time. Steve was watching this behaviour and wasn't sure to find it cute or disgusting.

Steve was getting busy with the mashed potatoes and checking on the turkey every once in a while.

a gasp echoed through the kitchen as you burnt your hand on the oven attempting to check on the turkey per Steve's request.

"what happe-" pete asked trailing off when he say u nursing your hurt hand, "oh baby, are you okay? did you burn it? don't worry it will be okay. I'll get some ice for it" he said, completely freaking out.

you watching him frantically searching for some ice for a minute before saying "don't worry petey, it's fine. it's only a burn. and it doesn't hurt that badly" you say giggling at how concerned he was.

"but what if it gets infected? or if it swells up?" he asked finally managing to find some ice and putting it on your hand.

"honestly, you kids." Steve says rolling his eyes and chuckling. "are you sure you are alright y/n?" he asks, his eyebrows knitting in concern.

"yeah I'm sure" you say, smiling up at him.

"okay" he says checking on the turkey himself.

you checked the clock "our shift ended five minutes ago! those little fuckers didn't tell us!" you say taking off the apron. you go into the living room and find Morgan and Loki laughing on the sofa.

"I'm truly sorry Lady y/n, it was my shift next and I didn't want to do it." Loki said, smirking at you.

"your not sorry" you say.

"no, your right, I'm not" he said, grinning again.

you roll your eyes and resume your earlier position on the sofa, Peter sitting next to you.

"secret santa!" came a shout from the doorway, you looked up to see that it was Tony. he was carrying the secret santa presents in his arms and Clint and Rhodes were behind him also carrying armfuls of presents.

Morgan jumped up from her seat next to Bruce squealing excitedly.

"don't we have to wait for our special guests to get here?" Pepper asked eyeing Tony.

"oops I forgot, yes we do" Tony said putting down the presents bashfully.

"what special guests?" you ask, having not heard about this at all.

"you will see" Tony said, with a shit eating grin.

about ten minutes later a knock was heard at the door.

Vision gets up to answer it and you soon here a shout from the doorway.

"do not fear, Christmas is saved. for the overrated king of wakanda and his amazing and beautiful genuis sister is here!"

"SHURI!" you and Peter both yell in unison.

"it is I" she said flicking her hair (and actually succeeding) before running to hug the two of you.

"not that anyone has noticed but I'm also here" Doctor Strange says from the doorway.

Tony and Bruce look up from talking to T'Challa and go over to shake hands with Strange.

"presents now?" Morgan asks, tugging on Tony's trouser leg.

"yes sweetie, go over and open some of them." Tony says. patting her on her head and sending her on her way.

everyone gathers around the tree and watches Morgan open her presents from santa. when she has finished you give her a wrapped package with some art supplies in. she jumps up and hugs you with a massive grin on her face.

then someone (you guess Scott but your not sure) yells secret santa.

everyone gets the presents they had gotten for their secret santa, you had gotten Thor and after asking for help from Peter you ended up making him something. when it was time for you to give thor his present you presented a wrapped up package. it was a knitted jumper with tiny hammers and lightning bolts on it.

he opened the present with a massive grin on his face and pulled you into a bone crushing hug.

"thanks you Lady y/n, I couldn't have asked for anything better."

"your welcome Thor" you said, smiling up at him.

when everyone was done with the secret santa, you had received a few scented bath bombs and a silver snake ring from Natasha, some people trickled out to go and help in the kitchen.

you handed Peter a package wrapped in red paper, "here you go Petey" you say.

he takes it and opens it, you had given him a watch with the millennium falcon on the inside of it.

"thanks baby, I love it!" he says hugging you tightly and kissing you square on the lips. "you will get yours tonight" he says with a grin.

not even five minutes had passed when a yell was heard from the kitchen.

"you idiot, you were meant to take out the turkey while we were opening the presents!" Sam yelled.

"well its not my fault that the timer didn't go off!" Clint yelled back.

"FRIDAY, did you set the timer like I asked you to?" Sam asked.

"you never asked me to set a timer sir" FRIDAY replied.

"shit" Sam muttered kicking the table in frustration.

after a few minutes of chaos Steve managed to find a ham in the back of the fridge, everyone decided that the ham was the best thing to have so you cooked it up and it didn't get burnt.

everyone gathered around the table, the food was delicious, and you almost couldn't tell that there wasn't a turkey.

"hey Bucky, could you pass me the potatoes please?" you asked. piling your plate high with good food.

once everyone was done eating you all sat in the living room and put on a Christmas movie.

you and Peter wanted to watch the muppets Christmas Carol but you both were outvoted and you ended up watching the Nightmare before Christmas.

Tony got the movie set up and you curled into Peter. an hour later when the movie was finished you were still in the same position, you were very happy next to Peter with him stroking your hair lovingly. you buried your head further into his chest until you had to upstairs to bed.

Peter offered to carry you and you glad fully accepted, completely worn out from the chaos filled day.

when you had both gotten up to your bedroom he presented a wrapped up gift from his pocket.

"I'm not done with you yet y/n" he says with a grin on his face.

you open the package and inside find a box. upon opening it you find a beautiful silver heart locket. you open up the locket to find that Peter had already put a picture inside, it was a picture of you and him on Valentines day, on the date that he had set up for the two of you.

"omg, Pete I absolutely love it!" you say with a massive grin on your face, "can you put it on me?" you ask.

"turn around" he says, taking the necklace from you and clasping it up. "all done"

he spins you around and you land in his arms, he kisses you passionately and you kiss back just as fiercely. the kiss was filled with passion and promises.

that night you fall asleep in his arms, with a massive grin on your face.

you couldn't have wished for a better Christmas, even if it did include burnt turkey.

Ego Holiday Headcanons

Haven’t decided if I’ll make more after this, but here’s some festive headcanons for the Septic boys! (tagging as Yuletube for my submission for the past two missed days, hope that’s alright!)

Henrik Von Schneeplestein

-The host of the Septic Ego Holiday Celebration (est. 2017)

-STRESSED

-If he wasn’t stressed enough by being a doctor (and parent lmao), HE IS NOW

-Getting all the egos together for the holidays and making sure they DON’T kill each other?? Someone give this man an award

-Everyone keeping their limbs would be his only Christmas wish

-He does not get said Christmas wish (see: Robbie)

-Switches up his black coffee for coffee with peppermint creamer

-Chase eventually hooks him on peppermint tea instead, he knows the Doc needs sleep

-Can be found humming along to the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy as he cooks holiday dinner

-Definitely has a “kiss the cook” apron

-Chase crossed out the “the” on it with “zhe” in sharpie

-Day 5, Schneep still hasn’t noticed

-Loves it, but still wears his doctor coat on top of it

-Gets very cold easily, so the fire is always burning

-Has a nutcracker collection

-It’s getting out of hand

-Holidays are,,, hard for him

-Still sends his kids cards and presents, never actually knowing if they get them or not

-They do, I promise

-Wasn’t originally keen on celebrating with everyone, he has a tendency to self-isolate

-But once he gets there, he’s glad he did

-IMMEDIATELY tackled in a hug from Jackie

-”YOU’RE HERE!! Couldn’t start without you, dude!”

-Everyone else smiles and gives the appropriate hug

-(Anti does not, but no eye roll this time at least)

-Absolutely loves warm apple cider and has a good recipe to make his own

-Favorite Christmas movie is Elf, no I do not take criticism

-Has a soft spot for Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas though because of his kids

-Holiday puns, you CANNOT get this man to shut up with the puns

- “Where’s Anti?” “Up to SNOW good! There’s SNOW way we can REIN him in now!”

-Once it snows, this boy is sledding down every hill in SIGHT

-Teaches Robbie how to catch snowflakes on his tongue

-Marvin makes him a “World’s Best Dad” sweater

-He totally cries and does not take it off the rest of the season

Jackieboy Man

-Christmas is his favorite holiday

-Good luck getting him to sit still around this time

-Has super strength, so he doesn’t quite have the same “don’t do that, you’ll hurt yourself” factor that everyone else does??

-Ends up finishing the lights with his magic anyway (after he untangles his boyfriend from the lights, that is)

Jameson Jackson

-THIS BOY oh this boy

-Brings out the classic holiday music and sets it up on the gramophone

-LOVES making up dances to the music

-May be a classic boy, but his guilty pleasure is Michael Buble

-(Robbie calls him bubbles whenever he comes on)

-Goes ALL OUT with the holiday baking

-Cookies of all kinds, homemade gingerbread for the houses, so many pies, even learns how to bake his own bread

-His job is making the decorations while Marvin sets them all up, it’s a great dynamic

woah hay i forgot to post this !!

this was just gonna be like a fun doodle supplement for ease of explanation to the campaign im running right now but i let myself keep drawinnng so it ended up being like ... a full-on micro ethnography sketchbook found in a druid enclave’s library on a tribe of friendly goblins instead lol

somewhere down the line i might finish up a copy of these in my usual art style but this was good fun to mess about with, and an excuse to play with some nice fine liners id just bought <.<

an art !! hurrah !!

SO basically i have a subrace homebrew table in my giant folders of Stuff

of the goblinoids your basic gob has the most subraces, and one especially rare one is Woodwose! my D&D contains a heaping cup of nuance because original 70s D&D was a Smashy Game and i like worldbuilding, so not ALL goblins of any subraces are inherently evil, but woodwose are m u c h more likely to coexist with their neighbours than use theft and bonks on the head as a survival strategy than your average bunch of goblins. i think of them as being softly furred like a greyhound with little to no head hair, opposed to the standard goblin which may be more wiry or sparse in hair in a human-like pattern

SO this is what these guys are :’> Neverwinter Woods’ resident band of Woodwose; traders in hard to reach goods from deep in the woods - a pretty dangerous undertaking for those who dont know the mysterious forest well. AND their most prized trade goods are the products of the deep forest bees, especially their honey - deep and bright like maple syrup, tangy and piney, surprisingly sharp and unsweetened. It makes the most excellent mead in the Savage Territories, if not the world. some herbs the bees collect from can make the honey a little psychoactive if you know what to look for ... the supply channels are narrow and their trust is hard to gain, and they trade for specialist goods they have difficulty crafting themselves - such as metal for prized weapons, special food or cloths, or raw materials their territory doesnt produce in high volumes.

they rehome these bees in large open hive rings as well as keeping an eye on local swarms out in the woods, they maintain a few permanent gardens near big populations but employ hidden slash and burn groves, and they keep the large and sturdy Cragfoot goats - descended from Hotenow Ibex - for work and milk, and then their bodies. materials at the end of their life. what meat they eat comes from some sparse hunting and occasional fishing in the web of rivers.

they live in little stone roundhouses, supplemented by stone-bottomed barns, tall wooden granaries and pit-fridges, tent lean-tos, often all ringed by stone banks, and use wooden vats and coil pots (some of the best potters pattern their work). they are usually adept at moving in treetops too, with networks of pegs and hidden ladders, climbing loops and platforms along trails and around houses

they mostly dress in rough cloth and leather, protection made of bone or wood and with their best warriors using traded mail for extra defence. jewellery is made of wood and bone, and some decorative furs are obtained by chance. the best of these goes to the chief and the shaman who co-ordinate the group. they decorate themselves and the outer walls of their structures with paints of white, green and grey.

what I want added to Minecraft

•Birds

-For multiple biomes, but mainly for the forests.

-Songbirds would add SO MUCH life to the otherwise quiet areas of the game

-Ravens and crows would be awesome and could use some of the parrot mimicking AI

-Cardinals in the snow biomes would bring a GORGEOUS pop of colour into the white atmosphere

-Seriously we need something to populate the sky, parrots do NOT fly like they should

-nests in trees, can find eggs in them

-doesn't really add a use but fun new feather types would be cool

•Owls

-technically still a bird but would go really well in covered rooftop forests and snow biomes

-we're already getting larger avians added in the form of vultures so why not more large birds?

•Mice and / or rats

-absolute precious babies

-sadly would go well with owls :(

-with cave update coming we need adorable rodents scurrying around

-lil bastards could make mouseholes inside of blocks

-will they be tameable? idk.

-adds the necessity for cheese

•Deer

-MOJANG this is a MUST, this is a NEED

-You literally have pigs, chickens, cows, and sheep spawning in forests what the fuck

-Deer with spotty baby fawns??? Yes

-Young bucks with different stages of antler growth? Yes

-Fawns frolicking in flower forests bc they feel safe

-Stripped wood appearing on trees where bucks scrape velvet off their antlers

-Being able to collect sets of antlers when they fall off periodically (would NOT be attainable by killing the deer, you have to wait for them to shed)

•Elk and Moose

-Same vein as deer

-Bigger, much bigger, neutral instead of passive, less shy

-Snowy biomes

-Better additions than fucking llamas tyvm

-Sidenote but savannahs could also really use some endangered deer-like species to help raise awareness for their status

•Squirrels

-Mojang plz

-Adds nuts to Minecraft ;)

-Black, grey, red, and mixed colour squirrels and breeding

-Brings life to forests like songbirds and deer

•Bears

-Mojang bby you literally already have a neutral bear in Minecraft why have you not reskinned it for grizzly/brown/black bears?

-Bear caves

-Hibernating mobs

-Brings more use to the beehives and bees, bears could be attracted to any area that has more than one bee hive with honey

•WOLVES AND DOGS

-They NEED the ocelots and cats update

-More wolf types (red, timber, snow, black, etc)

-Actual wolf packs (the AI would be difficult to program but the doges are worth it)

-Please let the howl at the moon, if foxes get to say ringdingding all night long wolves deserve to be allowed to howl

-More dog breeds (I know that there's no reason for domesticated dog breeds in Minecraft but ACTUALLY THERE IS)

-Hunting dogs like springers that can jump and run faster

-Foxhounds :D

-Most Important Goodest Boy: Herding dogs like collies and sheepdogs

-Herding dogs could be found in plains where cows and sheep spawn and create herds

-LET DOGS LAY DOWN FOR FUCKS SAKE

-Instead of having to pen up and enclose your livestock you could form herds of cows and sheep

-Your Goodest Boi herding dog would protect them and move around with them when they graze

-Idk if y'all know this but the glow squid is a bad idea

DISCLAIMER: I recognize that mobs are added to Minecraft to serve a purpose within the game and that many of these mobs would be better in mods and such, but I also feel like many of these suggestions would really bring so much more life to parts of the game that really need it. Even if they don't serve a huge purpose, they would still be really amazing additions imo.
